Do You Want a Practical Golf Accessory or a Gimmick
A Golf Accessory should be helpful in your pursuit to improve at this great game, it should not be time consuming and add stress. I would like to share with you what I believe to be some of the more useful Golf Accessories that are available. There are literally dozens of them to choose from, some are very handy while others are just time consuming gimmicks.
In my mind probably the best golf accessory available today is the GPS unit. I have been using one for 4 years now and I wouldn’t be without it. It has been called the best Golf accessory to come along in years by G.D. It is one of the most sought after pieces of equipment out there. And for good reasons, I know since I started using one my handicap has fallen by 6 strokes.
Another Golf Accessory that is very helpful is the Check-Go, by Technasonic. This device finds the sweet spot of your ball.
We all know that balls are mass produced and even with quality control they aren’t always perfect! I’ve been using a check-go for several years now and I’ve noticed that when a ball isn’t properly balanced the check-go sounds different!
When the ball is balanced it spins the ball at a high and steady rpm. When the ball is unbalanced the Check-Go spins at a lower rpm and won’t spin smoothly! Now how much of a difference this makes to us amateurs I have no idea but it is something that can be eliminated.
Another benefit is the line that the check-go puts on your ball; it’s a very helpful alignment aid. I find this extremely helpful when I’m lining up my putts. This Golf Accessory is definitely not a gimmick, and it’s used on the PGA tour.
Another Golf Accessory that I believe to be very useful is the Line M Up ball marking tool. I use it in conjunction with the check-go. I have found that if I press too hard on the check-go, it produces a line that is off because you’ve moved the ball a tiny bit. So I use it to remark the line that the check-go has put on my ball.
However you do it, this line on your ball will help you line up your putts straighter to your target line.
These are only a few of the Golf Accessories that I believe will help your game. There are a lot more that may help you, but be careful not to fall for all the gimmicks that just take up time and cause you to play slower. For sure you will shot lower scores if you use the right Golf Accessory.
