Nike Golf balls are performing very well at the highest level there is. The number one player in the world "Tiger Woods" has been using a Nike Golf Ball for several years now; with a fair amount of success wouldn't you say! He uses the One Platinum. Now I now we aren't Tiger Woods, but there’s no reason we can't play the same Nike golf ball as him.
I was in a store here in the Okanagan and I was looking for something new to try. The fellow in the store suggested a Nike Golf Ball; the One Black. He said he had given it a try and was very happy with it. I thought what the heck, the Number 1 player in the world uses a Nike golf ball, I’ll give it a try. To say the least I was very pleased with it. I used it in our men's amateur tournament at Sunset Ranch where I was a member at the time. I had excellent distance off the tee and hit 19 out of 26 fairways that weekend, which was fantastic for me.
Around the greens I found it to be very responsive also. I was able to put a nice roll on all my putts and made some long ones. I ended up shooting a 2 over par 74 in the first round. I won my flight and low net for the tournament. Nike golf balls had my endorsement right there and then.
One Platinum – It’s designed to produce a higher trajectory and lower spin rate off of today's mega-drivers. It has a multilayer design, with a "Progressive Density Core", which lowers the spin rate. The dimple pattern produces a higher trajectory with a more penetrating flight and a shallower angle of decent. This maximizes carry distance and roll.
One Black – It combines excellent feel with outstanding distance. It's also a multilayer, which was designed for aggressive swing speeds. It has a penetrating mid trajectory flight with a low spin rate for accuracy off the tee. It has been redesigned for added spin control around the greens. I think this Nike Golf Ball is one of the best I have ever played.
PD Super Lady - It was designed specifically for the ladies. It has 2 piece construction with low compression (60) and a solid core. The ladies will like the softer feel and the distance they get.
Juice 312 – This Nike golf ball has a 2 piece construction and was designed to give players with low to medium swing speeds more distance. One of the fellows in our foursome uses the juice all the time. He loves it; he is in his early 70’s and averages around 220 - 230 yards off the tee. Around the greens he can make it stop on a dime.
Nike golf balls are for players of all skill levels. The number 1 player in the world uses them that says it all. I definitely would recommend that your next time out you try a Nike Golf Ball.
